Before you begin

• Have your wrestler’s full legal name and date of birth ready.
• Use a parent or guardian email address.
• Know your wrestling club’s exact name.
• Have a payment method ready.

Important: Parents should select the membership required by your club and intended competition. Don’t assume the first membership option is the right one.

Go to the official membership site.

1. Open usawmembership.com .
2. Find the option to create an account or log in.
3. If you are a first-time user, choose the option to create a free account.

Look for: “Create Account” or “Create Free Account.”

Set up the adult’s login first.

1. Enter the parent or guardian’s information.
2. Enter an email address you can access.
3. Create and confirm a password.
4. Submit the form and complete any email verification requested.

Important: The membership system says account holders must be at least 13 years old. A parent or guardian should manage registration for a younger child.

Your account and your child’s profile are not necessarily the same thing.

1. Log in to your parent account.
2. Find Manage → Profiles, or the equivalent profile-management option.
3. Choose Create New Profile to add your child.
4. Enter your wrestler’s legal name, date of birth, and the other requested information.
5. Save the profile.

If your child has had a USA Wrestling membership before, look for an option to claim or link the existing profile instead of creating a duplicate.

Purchase the card for your child, not yourself.

1. Open the membership or purchase/renew section.
2. Select your wrestler’s profile.
3. Choose the appropriate Athlete Membership.
4. Check the membership details, season, and eligibility before continuing.

The exact options and prices can vary by membership type and season. Follow your club’s instructions if you need a particular competition membership.

Make sure the wrestler is associated with the correct club.

1. Find the Club Affiliation or club selection field.
2. Search for your club’s official name.
3. Look for or manually enter "Stafford Wrestling Club".
4. Review the athlete’s information before continuing.

If you cannot find your club, contact your coach before selecting another club.

Finish the registration.

1. Complete any required waivers and acknowledgments.
2. Enter the parent or guardian’s electronic signature wherever required.
3. Add the membership to your cart.
4. Proceed to checkout.
5. Review the total and enter your payment information.
6. Submit the order and save the confirmation email.

Don’t stop at the cart. The membership purchase is not complete until the order has been submitted successfully.

Save proof of registration.

1. Return to the USA Wrestling Membership System .
2. Log in to your account.
3. Open your wrestler’s membership or card information.
4. Use the available print or download option to save the card.
5. Keep a digital copy on your phone.

Check that the wrestler’s name and membership status are correct. If the card is pending verification or approval, contact USA Wrestling or your state association before assuming it is ready for competition.
